WHY CROSSFIT VICE

Justin Brown began his love for functional fitness over 10 years ago when he was encouraged by a friend to get out of the local body building gym and try CrossFit.  He was hooked immediately by the variety, intensity, and community.  This is how V.I.C.E was born standing for Varied, Intense, Community Exercise. 

Members Matter Most

Most people who make resolutions to get fit or live a healthier lifestyle don’t follow through on their commitment. They can pay the gym membership, wear the right clothes, follow the right Instagramers or listen to ‘Eye Of The Tiger’ on repeat, but without this ONE vital ingredient they will fail. To truly follow through on achieving our goals we need coaches and friends to guide, motivate and support us. Without it, people don’t stay accountable to the journey and they give up. Every workout we offer is programmed and tailored specifically to your ability and fitness goals. That’s right – on every class! Wherever you are at your fitness level, we’ll tailor a program to help you to safely and steadily improve more on your fitness goals.

Specialised Coaching Every Session

Our professionally trained and expert coaches actively coach each class that you attend. Personal coaching like this would normally cost a fortune in traditional gyms, but here at VICE, the coaching session is included in all our memberships.

Multidisciplinary Functional Training

Our program uses functional movements that your body is naturally designed to do, combining elements of cardio, gymnastics, weightlifting, cycling, rowing, and more to improve your overall fitness in a balanced way.

Friendship & Accountability

At VICE, our community is our greatest strength. You’ll make lifelong friends to help inspire, challenge and motivate you. We train together, socialise together, and inspire each other to do our best and achieve our best!

Wodify Performance Tracking

VICE members have access to Wodify, which encourages accountability and friendly competition among members. It also includes a Nutrition journal and built-in heart rate tracking!

Structured Beginners’ Program

Our Beginners’ program is designed to ensure the safety and success of our new members. At VICE, we know that every person’s fitness journey is different, and we’re here to help.

High Speed WiFi Lounge

A comfortable reception area with lounge and WiFi is available to all members and guests during open hours so you’re never disconnected! Sit back and enjoy post-workout free time, or settle in after work before you hit your WOD (workout of the day).

Quality Capped Class Sizes

You’re more than a number to us! We want you to get the attention you deserve every session and that’s why all our classes are limited to 12 members at a time.

VICE Owner

After training at local boxes and around the world, Justin saw a need to create a modern, luxury box with strategic programming and quality coaching.  His passion for health & fitness has shaped his life.  Justin is a Doctor of Chiropractic, has a B.S. in Exercise Physiology, former Strength and Conditioning Specialist and has a CrossFit Level 1 Certification.

VICE Coach

Shane is from South Africa where he trained to be a World Champion Kickboxer and 10th fittest Crossfit athlete in his country. He has a degree in Sports Science and CF L1. Working with various populations including professional athletes for over 10 years gives unique perspective on performance, health and wellness.  Shane has traveled to over 30 countries and brings a unique well-cultured  approach to training.

VICE Coach

Health and Fitness has always played a big role in Cammie’s life but when she discovered Crossfit in 2014, her perception of fitness changed. “The strength and confidence I experienced inspired me to become a competitor and eventually a Crossfit coach.  I have competed in several local competitions and received my L1-Certification in 2018.  I want to share my knowledge and experiences as an athlete and fitness professional to help people reach their health and fitness goals.”

Nutrition Coach

Coach Liz is a mom of 3 and has experienced the powerful transformation of nutrition combined with fitness. After a decade of struggling to maintain weight and gain muscle, Liz discovered a plan that completely changed her own body and mind. She was inspired to get certified as a Nutrition Coach and now helps others discover the power of making eating good simple, fun, and effective.
